With the beautiful surrounding countryside, it’s easy to see why Keyingham is such a haven for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. Located to the east of the village is a horticultural nursery which covers an area almost equal to that of the village. Also located to the east are sand and gravel pits along with numerous small lakes. It also features a field just outside the village consisiting of the bull like creatures known as Highland Steers.

Local attractions

A few miles down the road is Spurn Point, home to the only RNLI lifeboat station in the UK which has full-time paid staff. Owned by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust since 1960, Spurn Point is a designated National Nature Reserve, Heritage Coast and is part of the Humber Flats, Marshes and Coast Special Protection Area.
